Raytheon Technologies Sr. Engineering Logistics Specialist in Andover, Massachusetts

Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLE) is made up of several disciplines whose main objectives include; Influencing systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer/end user; providing affordable, best in class, life cycle sustainment services after system deployment.

As a Sr. Engineering Logistics Specialist, you’ll be responsible for Customer partnering and engineering management in one or more of the following areas:

  • Ownership of all Missile assets associated with Patriot Repair and Return programs

  • Daily and weekly interaction with end user customer

  • Work with Program Management providing insight on all Repair and Return Missile requirements

  • Understand and influence contractual language as it applies to Missile product

  • Daily and weekly status of 250+ assets with Missile Integrated Product Team and RIS Vendors

  • Budget and schedule analysis on all assets

  • Work with supporting functions from different disciplines to move assets through process

  • Coordinate activities with clear communication to Integrated Product Team, Program Management Office and US Government

  • Perform capacity analysis on missile product line

  • Prepare and present metrics, status and logistics systems status at internal and external management reviews

This position requires 30% domestic travel

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

This position can be a Salary Grade G08 or a Salary Grade G09 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in logistics support, machine maintenance or manufacturing

  • At a G08, 2+ years of experience in the aforementioned areas along with a relevant Master's Degree may be considered for this job

  • At a G09, 4+ years of experience in the aforementioned areas along with a relevant Master's Degree may be considered for this job

  • Logistics experience

  • US Citizenship is required

Desired Skills:

  • Patriot Missile System product knowledge and/or experience

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team, inspiring confidence in others

  • Knowledge and application of logistics principles

  • Knowledge and application of PRISM, SAP and ARMs

  • Self-initiative, strong written and oral communication skills and team player

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking (EVMS) to cost and schedule

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to influence through teaming and collaboration

  • Elevated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, general proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree.

8 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
