Opportunity for a motivated Hardware Quality Engineer with strong technical and customer skills to join a busy Operations Quality Team. Here at Raytheon, our Operations Quality Team ensures product and process quality with an emphasis on Product Compliance, Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement. As a Hardware Quality Engineer (Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer II) embedded within the RF Components (RFC) Value Stream, you’ll be an active participant on cross-functional teams, bringing Quality Science skills and expertise to drive issue resolution In this role, your responsibilities will include: · Supporting and leading cross-functional teams analyzing defect data, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions. · Supporting the production floor by performing internal process audits, working with operators to improve processes and validating product inspection results. This is a Second Shift position and will require obtaining a secret clearance. This position can be a Salary Grade G09 or Salary Grade G10 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. Required Skills: · 6 + years of experience in a Manufacturing Process/Production Floor Support role within one of the following disciplines Quality, Process, Engineering or Operations · Strong oral and written communication skills · Ability to work constructively with production, engineering and procurement personnel and managers throughout the organization · Ability to learn SAW module technology standards MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-PRF-38535, MIL-STD-883 and support the product disposition process Desired Skills: · Previous experience in a wafer fabrication manufacturing facility · Good general knowledge of industry technical standards (such as MIL-STD-883) · Experience with quality systems, MDA Assurance Provisions, ISO/AS 9100, CMMI, quality concepts and general understanding of aerospace/defense regulations and standards · Six Sigma, Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CSQE, CQA) · Advanced Quality Science tool experience, e.g., PFMEA, DFMEA · General Statistical Process Control knowledge including implementation · High energy, self-starting team player · Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point) Required Education: · Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Technical Discipline About Raytheon Raytheon Company is a global technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, government and cybersecurity markets throughout the world.
