Job Title: Digital Leader

Job Description:

Carrier Fire & Security is looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Digital Leader to drive high-priority business initiatives on Carrier's Digital, Cloud, and IoT platforms. The focus of the Digital Leader is to define, deliver and manage support for the critical digital solution of the business. The candidate should have an inherent interest to be the product champion and work closely with various stakeholders in delivering on the roadmap, positioning, and goals. This role will have a great opportunity to showcase their business and technology acumen.

Responsibilities (Pre-requisites and Essential Functions)

  • Define and drive the digital roadmap for the business.

  • Drive the roadmap and vision to deliver enterprise-grade applications.

  • Considerable experience with maintaining and managing corporate infrastructure environments

  • Develop digital service initiatives for a specific set of growing areas in the business

  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders in driving the product/project definition, strategy, and value analysis.

  • Ability to drive the full cycle of digital solutions – from ideating and defining the solution to adoption and operations.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience (Pre-requisites and Essential Functions)

  • BA/BS degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.

  • A minimum of the 7-year overall experience.

  • 3 years of experience in an IT infrastructure, ERP, and technology integration lead role

  • 3 years of experience in a product owner, business analyst, or technology strategy role.

  • Considerable domain experience developing or implementing digital transformation of businesses

  • Industry experience within the Industrial solutions and connected solutions

  • Experience working with Partners in the development of a business solution, ensuring support of technology infrastructure business applications

  • Strong analytical skills, along with excellent written and oral skills.

  • A deeper understanding of business models, revenue analysis, and current technology trends.

  • Experience working within Cloud, SaaS for web/mobile and enterprise companies.

  • Experience integrating or managing SaaS-based digital products like, e-commerce systems, and similar products

  • Experience and understanding in advanced technology areas such as Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT) will be a plus.

  • Experience working with technology budgets and financial tracking

  • Experience in agile software development. Able to adapt to change and open-minded.

  • Expertise in running Enterprise workloads on AWS and enabling migration/deployments of legacy applications to the cloud; provide appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers.
