Oasis Systems, LLC Program Manager (AWACS) in Bedford / Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts
Overview
Provide Program Management support to AWACS Division, which is located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience in DoD systems acquisition and program management principles, policies, and practices as defined in DoDI 5000.02 as well as knowledge of roles and relationships with the DoD and Air Force
Experience in executing DoD programs with prime contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers from foreign countries
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skilled in use of Microsoft Office products
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Travel of up to 1 week per month may be required, both CONUS and OCONUS.
Responsibilities
The Program Manager is directed to the AWACS Branch, with the majority of the work assisting the CID program.
This posiiton provides expert advice and solutions to program leadership to facilitate successful contract execution for the program.
Analyzes overall program health and advises program leadership on options to maintain cost, schedule and performance objectives.
Reviews acquisition documents and provides comments offering an executive level perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy. Documents may include, but are not limited to, Acquisition Decision Memorandums, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Program Baselines, Risk Management Plans, Program Management Reviews and Milestone Decision Briefs.
Individual must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
Personnel should be able to provide program perspective from tactical level insights (e.g. communities of interest, interface programs, users) to operational (e.g. Division Chief, Directorate, O-6 Users) strategic levels (e.g. GO level users, COCOMs, Program Element Monitor, Congress) and effectively communicate and translate program information and concerns to and across each of those communities.
Shall be able to support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. DAES, MAR, etc.).
Contractor shall support Program Management Reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews.
