Oracle 2018-19 College Recruiting Hardware Engineer in Bedford, Massachusetts

Evaluates reliability of materials, properties and techniques used in production; plans, designs and develops electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment and packaging, optical systems and/or DSP systems.

Responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic, electro-mechanical or mechanical components, assemblies or integrated circuitry for hardware systems for the external market. Includes new design, as well as modification activities that results in significant product enhancement. Activities encompass design, analysis, testing and process development using engineering principles and methods. Technical disciplines may include electrical and logical design of printed circuit boards or integrated circuits; mechanical design of electronics enclosures or integrated circuit packaging; and embedded software/firmware design.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of engineering or related experience.

Have at least aBachelor s degree in ElectricalEngineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering,Physics, or related field by August 2019

Have academic coursework, work experience, or completed project research in at least two of thefollowing: Computer Architecture, VLSI, DigitalSystem/Design, Analog System/Design, Microelectronics Circuits, MicroprocessorDesign, Embedded System, Parallel and Distributed Architecture, Memory System,Operating System, RTL Design, RF Design or equivalent to the above

Have academic coursework, completed project research or have prior work experience with at leasttwo of the following: Synopsis tools,Cadence tools, SPICE, Xilinx, Mentor Graphics tools, MATLAB, EDA tools,Mathematica, LabVIEW, Oscilloscope, CAD/PCB tools

Have academic coursework, completed project research or have prior work experience with at leastone the following programming languages: C/C , Assembly language, Verilog, System Verilog, HDL, Shell scripting(UNIX, Linux), Perl, Python

Reside in the UnitedStates and/or attend a university in the US

Able to obtain workauthorization in the US in 2019
