We are currently seeking entry-level candidates to grow our team, specifically those with experience implementing complex designs on cutting-edge FPGA platforms. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to design and implement technical solutions for a wide range of challenges currently faced by our government sponsors. We specialize in rapid prototyping of advanced sensor, communication and navigation systems on real-time embedded platforms. As an applied research organization, we focus on capability development and demonstration while remaining decoupled from protracted product lifecycles and system support roles. This position provides an exciting opportunity to design and prototype state of the art embedded systems using commercial and custom platforms. Key opportunities include:
Working on cross-disciplinary teams of similarly bright and motivated engineers on projects of national importance
Real-time communication and sensor systems leveraging state of the art FPGA & SoC technology and cutting-edge SDR platforms

B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 0-2 years of relevant experience
Must be a US citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a US government Secret clearance
We are interested in highly motivated candidates with a wide variety of skills, insatiable curiosity, enthusiasm, and the ability and interest to dig deep on challenging technical problems. Required qualifications include:
Understanding of digital system design at the Boolean logic level
Experience with programming and a working knowledge of one or more RTL languages such as VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog
Exposure to FPGA simulation, synthesis, and implementation tools
Familiarity with good digital design practices including approaches to design, implementation, verification, testing, documentation, and debugging
Strong oral and written communication skills
M.S. or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering
Exposure to cutting-edge, reconfigurable SoC platforms (i.e. Xilinx MPSoC, Xilinx RFSoC, Intel Arria 10 SoC)
Solid foundation of digital design principals
Solid understanding of development practices including design and code reviews, testing and regression, revision control, and user documentation
Familiarity with scripting languages and build tools (TCL, Python, cmake, etc.)
Experience deploying designs on FPGA or SDR platforms, from RTL, through simulation & synthesis, to lab bring-up and debug
Solid foundation of basic signal processing concepts and exposure to MATLAB
Experience implementing real-time signal processing algorithms for communication, RADAR, and/or navigation applications
