The Accelerated Weapons Systems and Readiness Department (N151) is transforming warfighter operations by accelerating the adoption and fielding of advanced weapons systems capabilities. We accomplish our mission by integrating operational domain knowledge, validated mission threads, and digital engineering to rapidly prototype capabilities and assess tradeoffs in virtual environments through representative modeling, simulation, and experimentation. We strongly value deep technical and operational expertise, a mission-oriented mindset, and a desire to firmly link the acquisition of advanced capabilities to operational warfighters, analysts, and end-users in the mission outcomes supported by our Operations in Contested Environments (N150) work program: F-35 Enterprise and Weapons Systems Integration.
F-35 Enterprise – integrate the F-35 Enterprise into the Force by enabling U.S., partner nations, and international allies to execute future kill chains effectively and efficiently in contested environments.
Weapon Systems Integration – accelerate the delivery of future weapons systems and advanced capabilities to execute future kill chains effectively and efficiently in contested environments.
Our Department is seeking candidates with knowledge and interest in systems engineering. Candidates should have experience with requirements definition, use cases, workflow models, and other artifacts that capture the mission and intent of a system.
