Dell ​CSIRT Incident Manager in Bedford, Massachusetts

We are currently seeking a CSIRT Incident Manager - to join our team in Bedford MA.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining the quality of the Incident Response workflow and deliverables in the CSIRT by reviewing Incident queue regularly and analyzing incident closure

  • Working with the other CSIRT pillars to improve the Incident Response process within the CSIRT

  • Coordination of the CSIRT involvement in any Major Incident Management activities

  • Responsible for coordinating all activities related to CSIRT Declared Incidents

Assisting with the development of Run Books to ensure consistency across incident workflow

Requirements:

  • Typically requires 7+ years of Information Security experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience, at least 2 years should be in Security Operations or Incident Response, or similar role

  • Solid working knowledge of currently accepted information security standards, guidelines and theories

  • Solid communication and presentation skills working with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and understand industry trends

  • Ability to prioritize deliverables and workflow in a queue based system

  • Experience with workflow and ticketing systems like RSA Archer, Remedy, ServiceNow, etc is a plus

Certifications:

  • CISSP, CISM or other advanced security certifications are a plus
