The MITREInfoSec Policy & Compliance (P&C) team seeks a passionate,conscientious, and customer-focused individual to help drive theimplementation, and operations of our standards-based compliance program. You will help communicate compliance requirements to MITRE users and reviewtheir IT environments and security controls. You will also perform riskassessments of policy compliance gaps (i.e. waivers) and participate incontract reviews to identify security and compliance issues. The P&Cteam is comprised of dedicated individuals committed to continuously improvingMITRE’s security posture and supporting our internal customers in successfullyexecuting MITRE’s multiple sponsor missions.
Key Functions of the Role
Participate in MITRE’s standards-basedcompliance program. Review lab environments and systems for complianceagainst MITRE information security policies
Participate in contract reviews to identifysecurity and compliance concerns
Identify and document risks for proposedpolicy noncompliance
Help interpret policy for business use cases
Generalknowledge of industry security frameworks
Sometechnical knowledge of networks, operating systems, and/or applications
Goodtime management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
Strongwriting & communication skills, with attention to details
Knowledgeof security standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171)
Experienceconducting policy compliance audits
Familiaritywith advanced cyber adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures
