LogixHealth Data Intelligence Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence in Bedford, Massachusetts

Purpose

The Data Intelligence Senior Analyst will source, analyze, and report data to enhance business operations. The position will support internal operational and coding teams working closely with other technical staff to understand the requirements and translate those requirements into technical specs and project goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop data models and advanced data sources for use in Business Intelligence visualization tools (Tableau) and reporting tools (SSRS) that help spot trends, identify issues, and further optimize internal operational processes

  • Work with Data Strategy team and other Technology departments to understand current data warehouse structure and application databases, and then build custom queries

  • Closely monitor data extracts and perform optimization at different points in the data extract process

  • Understand user requests and be able to translate those requests into technical specs and data sources

  • Adjust workload as necessary to prioritize more urgent reports and data requests

  • Lead business analysis and workflow documentation processes

  • Pioneer new methods of data analysis that can be used to support the organization and its mission

  • Manage and innovate technologies to support BI initiatives and deliverables

  • Research and troubleshoot data inaccuracies between multiple systems; create and execute plan to fix them

  • Work in a team environment to meet deadlines and ensure department goals are met

  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and be familiar with all compliance policies and procedures stored in LogixGarden relevant to this position

  • Guide and create appropriate data solutions (dashboards, reports, business intelligence tools, etc.) and data analysis for the measurement of processes and outcomes

  • Manage logical access

  • Manage information assets and user access

  • Adhere to current SDLC policies and procedures

  • Define, maintain and protect data input/output into logical storage

  • Develop and maintain appropriate documentation and project status on projects and work products

    Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2008+), T-SQL, and experience creating and maintaining ETL’s a plus

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Tableau desktop. Experience with Tableau server management a plus

  • Experience manipulating and analyzing large quantities of data

  • Experience with healthcare RCM (revenue cycle management) or other healthcare data preferred

  • Experience with medical claims data is a plus

  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.) a plus

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision

  • Ability to sit for a prolonged periods of time, use hands, talk and occasionally walk and reach with hands or arms
