LogixHealth Junior Software Engineer in Bedford, Massachusetts


This entry level position develops the enterprise application(s), maintains, enhances and builds software solutions under guidance and direction.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Able to learn the codebase, write basic code and develop fixes for the bugs

  • Perform analysis, design, development and testing tasks with direction

  • Document the implementation by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code

  • Develop software solutions by studying detailed requirements; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle and be able to collaborate with other software engineers

  • Take guidance & instructions from other software engineers to troubleshoot existing code and develop solutions to fix bugs and enhance the application

  • Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques; desire to learn new technologies; participating in educational opportunities

  • Participate in knowledge-sharing code reviews & be able to fix the code as per the coding standards and code review feedback

  • Understand and align Agile development methodology and on the software development processes

  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and be familiar with all compliance policies and procedures stored in LogixGarden relevant to this position

    Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field of education.


    1+ years’ relevant experience in software development in building web applications using Microsoft Technologies.

    Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability

  • Basic programming in C#, .NET framework 4.0 or later

  • Minimum one project experience and working knowledge in programming using Microsoft technology stack (ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core 2.0, MVC, WCF, jQuery, CSS, SQL server) and Unit test Framework

  • Excellent knowledge of front-end development technologies, such as JQuery, Angular JS, CSS3

  • Should be familiar with version control software (TFS). Utilizes source control for code management

  • Must possess hands on technical skills, along with an ability to work under supervision & guidance

  • Conceptual knowledge on Object-Oriented Programming

  • Possess Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to stay organized in a dynamic work environment

  • Possesses a positive attitude and ability to think outside the box

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, use hands, talk, hear and occasionally walk and reach with hands or arms
