We are currently seeking to grow our team with highly talented engineers, specifically those with demonstrated experience implementing complex designs on cutting-edge FPGA platforms. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to architect and implement technical solutions for a wide range of challenges currently faced by our government sponsors. We specialize in rapid prototyping of advanced sensor, communication and navigation systems on real-time embedded platforms. As an applied research organization, we focus on capability development and demonstration while remaining decoupled from protracted product lifecycles and system support roles. Our world class labs provide a canvas for our team to conduct hands-on research and develop tangible solutions to support our military leaders and reinforce our nation’s defense.
This position provides an exciting opportunity to design and prototype state-of-the-art embedded systems on both custom and commercial platforms. Key opportunities include:

B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field and 8+ years of related experience
Must be a US citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a US government Secret clearance
Expertise in RTL coding, FPGA architectures and high-speed interfaces
Expertise in industry standard best practices for design, verification, test, and deployment
Experience architecting and implementing complex designs on modern heterogenous computing platforms (FPGA, uP, CPU, GPU)
Experience targeting cutting-edge, reconfigurable SoC platforms (ex. Xilinx MPSoC, Xilinx RFSoC, Xilinx Versal, Intel Arria 10 SoC)
Experience integrating and validating third-party Intellectual Property (IP) into custom designs
Domain experience in communication, RADAR, EW, and/or positioning/navigation systems
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Technical and/or project leadership experience in FPGA design
Highly-qualified candidates would meet several of the following preferred qualifications, however, we do not expect any individual to meet all of these and are looking to fill multiple positions according to technical expertise.
M.S. or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field and 12+ years of related experience
Experience leading multi-discipline teams to delivering electronic prototypes for signal processing applications
Ability to work with customers to understand their use cases and formulate a path forward, requires excellent oral and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Expertise in RTL development practices including design and code reviews, testing and regression, revision control, and user documentation
Expertise in signal processing with experience mapping DSP algorithms to embedded hardware
Experience working at the system level, spanning oversight across technical domains (antenna, RF, digital, software) to achieve state-of-the-art prototype systems
Experience with modern verification methodologies (UVM, OVM)
Experience with common electro-mechanical industry standards (i.e. VPX, FMC, MicroTCA)
Experience developing technical requirements targeting low-SWaP applications
