How will you make an impact?

The job of the mechanic is to repair, prevent, and maintain all process equipment. A strong relationship with manufacturing is needed to understand their needs and provide good customer support. Technical skills will be utilized to solve simple and complex problems.

In the maintenance department you will:

  • Be an equipment expert/specialist understanding how all equipment works

  • Provide reduced downtime and maximum uptime for manufacturing processes

  • Solve problems, drive solutions, troubleshooting, and preventing future failures

What will you do?

  • Order replacement parts and equipment.

  • Manage calibration cycles, preventative maintenance cadence, work-order e-filing, and audit readiness.

  • Champion as administrator to CMMS system (Mainsaver).

  • Stock maintenance related consumables (fittings, pipes, tools, etc.).

How will you get here?


  • High school graduate or GED required, some secondary education preferred.


  • Familiarity with plant machinery and equipment (pumps, vessels, valves, controllers, pneumatics, hydraulics, fittings, instruments, PPE, seals, gaskets, o-rings, tools, etc).

  • Inventory, shipping/receiving, cycle counting, stocking, and other relatable warehouse skills.

  • Performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Work Order (WO) tasks.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Knowledge of CMMS systems (Mainsaver and/or MP2).

  • Familiar with purchasing.

  • Proficiency with basic office computer software and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts.
