Aspen Technology, Inc. Principal Technical Program Management Analyst in Bedford, Massachusetts
We are looking to bring aboard a superlative Principal Technical Program Management Analyst for AspenTech’s Master Data Management initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for master data across multiple, simultaneous projects. This is a hands-on role where you will own the coordination, risk mitigation, organization, tracking, and execution of those projects. We need someone with a passion for data and an eye on detail.
Ensures integrity and quality of master data in key systems (such as Oracle ERP and Salesforce CRM).
Maintains business processes to support data quality and related standards; identifies areas for improvement.
Works to resolve data quality issues through error detection and correction, process control and improvement, and/or process design strategies.
Develops and documents processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity; ensures access to and integrity of data sets in various systems.
Collaborates with subject matter experts and data stewards to define and implement data strategies, policies, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, security, and reliability.
Meets internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards and works closely with the business and IS to ensure alignment of master data rules with various systems.
Conducts data cleaning to rid the system of old, unused data, or duplicate data.
Develops and implements strategies to translate business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable data warehouse designs to ensure that business needs are met.
Provides data consulting in support of business and information technology initiatives to clients to improve client database systems.
Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science, or related field from an accredited university.
8+ years overall experience in an analytical role. At least five years’ experience in Master Data Administration, Business Process Analytics, or related field; particularly with regards to customer, product, and entitlement data.
Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office applications. Microsoft Excel skills related to pivot tables, vLookups, and graphs is a must.
Experience using Oracle and Salesforce preferred.
Excellent organizational skills to coordinate multiple task completions timely and effectively.
Exceptional communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally.
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail. Ability to proactively manage risks and resolve problems.
Familiarity with information security and industry best-practices regarding customer-related master data.
Previous experience with taxonomy and information architecture a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a matrixed team.
