Responsible for the overall appearance and function of websites. Provides for the delivery of content and message on website, Mobile applications, Interactive Media and e-Mail efforts in execution of the company's digital strategy
Management of Web Design specialists to collaborate with line-of-business to support the development, implementation, functionality and maintenance of company digital efforts. Act as a liaison with management to ensure that activities are in support of business plans. Direct functional resources and budget to be deployed using the most appropriate mix for the line-of-business or geography. Focus on best practice and continuous improvement in all business and management activities. Ensure consistency between global directions and line-of-business and geography implementation choices. Provide effective performance management: Set clear goals for all staff, provide regular feedback on performance and conduct a formal appraisal at the conclusion of the fiscal year. Implement organizational changes in line with changing business & market needs
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business needs. Technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed. Experience in corproate web design a must, as well as familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to develop as well as guide team to work within a coporate brand.

What you ll be doing:
manage a team of UX Designers creating innovative and effective UX design patterns and solutions for marquee marketing web properties
curate holistic information architectures, wireframes, and experience flows
create innovative responsive UX design patterns, including website redesign efforts with a key eye on overall usability, content strategy, and UX patterns
collaborate and build consensus with design, content strategy, editorial, coding, and publishing teams to deliver holistic interactive UX solutions that are customer- and user-centric
successfully extend UX patterns across different devises: desktop, tablet, mobile, via responsive and native design techniques and measure the success with quantifiable metrics
provide senior-level leadership, design, and strategic creative solutions to a team of digital UX designers
lead UX workshops with product managers, content strategists, designers, and technologists
brainstorm in a team environment that includes remote participants
present to internal clients and senior executives
drive brand consistency while creating new digital UX design patterns
Skills you ll need:
6 years UX/UI experience in an agency working on technology clients and/or with a technology company (or a global brand)
ability to plot and drive information systems architecture
strong leadership skills and inspiring positive energy
be a self starter. Manage time wisely with an eye for detail. Thrive in a deadline-driven environment
ability to adopt, understand, and contribute to brand guidelines for a digital-first brand
strong mobile responsive and native UX application design experience
good understanding of coding technologies and responsive coding capabilities
strong spoken and written English communication skills
proven experience engaging with all levels of management
effective creative project management
able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as InVision and Sketch
working knowledge of CSS and HTML a plus
a clean and modern design aesthetic is preferred
a sense of humor and good listening skills a plus
