The MITRE Corporation Remote Access Engineer in Bedford, Massachusetts

Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluating remote access technologies and cloud security architecture products

  • Operating and maintaining MITRE's Remote Access Portal in conjunction with Network and Security teams

  • Developing related documentation and training materials

  • Handling complex user problems related to remote access and mobile technology

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Network Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

Required Qualifications:

  • Familiarization with networking technologies and firewalls

  • Familiarity with mobile operating systems

  • Good oral and written communications skills

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance at time of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with firewall technologies

  • Familiarizations with government security requirements such as FedRamp

  • Experience with iOS and Apple devices

  • Proficiency at log analysis (e.g., Splunk)
