The Sr. Manager, HRIT is responsible for leading the HRIT team in the implementation and maintenance of Workday features, along with other HR systems. In this role, the Sr. Manager, HRIT will actively seek out opportunities to leverage new Workday features and communicate with the organization. The position serves as a trusted advisor, partner, and leader within HR as well as to enterprise on HR Technology related matters and is responsible for the development and oversight of HRIT strategy to ensure customer business objectives are met and are in alignment with MITRE’s mission, vision, and Good Growth Strategy
Responsible for the management of high performing HRIT team, ensuring team meets goals in support of HR and Enterprise objectives and initiatives, while remaining compliant with regulations
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and Subject Matter Experts to identify continuous improvement opportunities and support Center initiatives
Engage with Workday Customer Success team and Workday ecosystem to identify Roadmap features that are beneficial and in support of MITRE’s goals, develop business cases for additional purchases when needed
Drive HR Technology strategy and roadmap planning
Ensure HR systems are user friendly, compliant with data protection laws, and data integrity is maintained and regularly audited
Collaborate with Business Transformation and ECIS teams to ensure project and resource alignment
Manage 3rd party vendor service relationships
Partner with Change Management Strategist when considering any new technology release
Coordinate regular product release management through Release Manager
