The Sensors, Electromagnetics, and Electronic Warfare Department at MITRE is looking for talented and motivated engineers and scientists to develop and field cutting edge solutions to challenging problems facing our sponsors.

Key Functions:

We are interested in highly motivated candidates with strong technical skills who are ready to become an integral part of our diverse and experienced team focused on designing, prototyping, evaluating, testing and fielding solutions over a broad range of projects requiring expertise in the following areas:

  • Electronic Warfare

  • RF Electronics

  • Radar/Sensors

  • HF sensing and communications

  • Antennas

  • Signal Processing and Algorithm Development

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS and 5 years related experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in electrical engineering, physics, or related field

  • Possess strong background in one of the following:

  • Electronic Warfare

  • RF Electronics

  • Radar/Sensors

  • HF sensing and communications

  • Antennas

  • Signal Processing and Algorithm Development

  • Possess experience with two or more of the listed activities:

  • Conducting experiments or data collections

  • Designing and prototyping hardware

  • Designing and prototyping algorithms or signal processing solutions

  • Analyzing data

  • Modeling system and sub-system behavior

  • Identifying technology gaps and their solutions for insertion into both fielded and developmental systems.

  • Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Candidates must also have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret a secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in electrical engineering, mathematics or physics

  • Experinces with at least two subject areas typically employed in radars such as antennas, signal processing, tracker design, RF hardware, or electromagnetic propagation.

  • Experienced with MATLAB, or a similar programming language.

  • Possess an active DoD secret.
