Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy applications and ensure maximum efficiency in the use of those applications. Respond to requests for support by users. Test and coordinate testing of new releases of Oracle Applications. Log bugs against applications and follow up with IT and Development. Monitor future applications releases. Train users on features of applications. Maintain applications responsibilities based on work group of user. Act as reporting resource. Represent users at Data Center meetings, user meetings at quarter end and whenever necessary. Carry a pager during designated support periods.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2-4 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.

PIR Systems Administrator
As a member of the Platform & Infrastructure Reliability team, you will work as one of our PIR System Administrator and you will play a key role in the advancement and success of our tiered support model. You will be at the forefront of supporting and troubleshooting our numerous compute resources. Using industry best practices and innovative approaches, you will aim to provide exceptional technical support with a focus on customer service.
Specific responsibilities include:
Tier 2 triage, troubleshooting, remediation, and escalation of tickets tied to the product support function
Own key 3rdparty software management (e.g., AWS, OCI, Terraform, GitLab, ActiveBatch, Linux, Windows, Active Directory, Networking etc.)
Create and maintain materials that outline and support our tiered support model, associated processes, and overall system components that are supported
Train and support junior team members in resolving product support tickets
Proactively identify ways to optimize the product support function
Coordinate with Tier 3 support to establish and manage clear escalation guidelines for supported system components
Assist broader IT Operations team with Tier 2 triage of Application Support tickets
Automate recurring tasks
Skills and Qualifications:
A two or four year technical degree (Computer Networking Systems, CS, CIS, etc.)
Systems or network administration certifications a plus
Linux and Windows Administration Experience
TCP/IP networking experience
Active Directory Users and Computers experience
Comfort with permissions and security troubleshooting
Must be a team player
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent time-management skills, and the ability to manage complexities and competing priorities
Ability to combine judgment, experience, analytic skills, and business knowledge to make sound decisions
Strong Interpersonal/communication skills with an eager customer service orientation
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and sound oral and written presentation skills
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
