The Eastwing Technical Project Assistant will provide high-quality, independent, and timely technical project research and products in support of customers, both internal to the MITRE Eastwing project as well as to other MITRE staff and Government sponsors:

  • Collaborate with other engineers in a team environment for classified research gathering intelligence on classified networks in response to sponsor requirements and tasking

  • Consolidate and document research into cohesive written products

  • Serve as the Eastwing data manager for:

  • threat data repositories on classified networks in 1521 and at MITRE

  • the online Eastwing project Teams site where all unclassified project information and products are stored, and

  • the Effects Chain Analysis Platform (ECAP) effort serving as the curator maintaining the data repository on the MITRE internal network (MII).

  • Serve as the Eastwing SharePoint site manager for the SMII classified network at MITRE

  • Manage and maintain access to the online Eastwing project Teams site where all unclassified project information and products are stored

  • Serve as curator for the Effects Chain Analysis Platform (ECAP) effort maintaining their data repository on the MITRE internal network (MII).

  • Facilitate coordination of new production requirements (PRs) by MITRE staff with the INH Threat Branch for submission by the Threat Branch into Coliseum

  • Research availability of required intel before PR submission

  • Periodically monitor and track PR status to keep MITRE Eastwing teammates aware of status

  • Monthly reporting to INH of technical progress, products, and cost reporting

  • Interface with INH and the PEO Directors of Intelligence (DOIs) as the primary MITRE conduit for tasking and new requirements

    Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in a related field

  • 5 years related experience

    Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • Experience communicating and working with military customers.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment and communicate on technical topics with engineers.

  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams as well as Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • SharePoint experience preferred, or interest in learning

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with collaboration tools, such as MS Teams

  • Knowledge of Air Force procedures and policies

  • Experience with military intelligence and/or acquisition
