This position will support the department work program and mature our capabilities to address diverse cyber threats by leveraging emerging technologies, agile methods, and innovative solutions. Our Group focuses on mitigating risks to the DoD warfighting mission capabilities caused by vulnerabilities in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) by developing capabilities to successfully implement Trusted Systems and Networks (TSN) strategy.
The Trusted Systems Group provides holistic supply chain expertise in software assurance and systems engineering to AFMC, AFLCMC, and the Joint Federated Assurance Center (JFAC). We bring unique skillsets together from across the corporation, industry and academia to assemble malware analysis detection capabilities and implement enterprise processes and procedures to provide supply chain integrity across the cyber domain.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience. Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances
BS Degree in Electrical, Systems or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics or related field
3 years of relevant experience
Technical experience in Cyber or Crypto, or Trusted System
K nowledge of assessing, tracking and curating threat and vulnerability dat
Knowledge of advanced cyber countermeasures and mitigations
Ability and willingness to broaden their technical skills
Developing written and verbal communication skill
Willingness to work with team members and sponsors across multiple geographical location
Possess active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Strong knowledge of supply chain problems in hardware, software, or analytics
5 years of relevant experience
Experience identifying and addressing counterfeit components
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proactive, critical thinking skills
Demonstrated interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and with minimal direction
