Microchip Technology Engineer I-Hardware in Beverly, Massachusetts
Description

The Microchip Technology location in Beverly, MA designs and manufactures Cesium and Rubidium atomic clocks for precise time markets.
Successful candidates will display an aptitude for problem-solving, a desire to learn, and demonstrate the ability to design and implement solutions independently and within a group.
Job responsibilities include:
Design of analog, digital and mixed signal circuits based on requirements in accordance with best design practices.
Creating and updating documentation for PCB assemblies, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Schematics, Test Procedures, etc.
Testing, validating and troubleshooting circuits using laboratory equipment
Participating in New Product Introduction process
Support products in manufacturing
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Basic understanding of Analog, Digital and Mixed Signal circuits, including theory of operation and calculation of parameters
Ability to read and create electric schematics, understanding of types and purpose of electronic components
Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and instruments
Knowledge of RF, Microwave Electronics and Frequency Synthesizers is preferred
Knowledge of Embedded Processors/Controllers is preferred
Knowledge of Programmable Logic (CPLD/FPGA) and HDL is preferred
