The ideal Mobile Application Developer candidate is able to demonstrate the following:

  • Provide detailed technical direction for the all our mobile product offerings

  • Full-Stack developer, Mobile, Web UI, Middleware and Database Development

  • Design and develop high quality software products using a suite of open source technologies including but not limited to Angular/Ionic/.net Core

  • Be a technology champion/mentor and work with others to effectively use new technology to build software products

  • Provide guidance and direction to offshore teams

  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices

  • Interact with other departments to understand and break down business requirements

  • Ensure strong commitment to on-time and quality delivery of applications

  • Exhibits the organizational savvy and project awareness to know when to escalate issues as requires

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or other engineering degree or equivalent experience

  • Excellent communication, leadership skills, learning agility, independent initiative and comfort working in a collaborative environment

  • 2-4 years experience in low level JavaScript as well as modern frameworks (Angular, React, VueJS)

  • 2-4 years experience in mobile development (Ionic, Xamarin, Swift, Objective C, Java, Kotlin) or show a passion for moving into mobile development

  • 5-8 years of intensive software development with an enterprise level application suite

  • 1-2 years leading a team of engineers

  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft and web-based technologies, especially REST Services, .NET 4.0, C#, Angular, WCF, WF, etc.

  • Must be knowledgeable with RDBMS and SQL, SQL Server, ORM (nHibernate, Entity Framework, Dapper)

  • Must have experience working with project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or TFS.

  • Must have experience with source control tools like TFVC and/or Git

  • Strong SOA and distributed computing experience

  • Experience supporting SaaS software environment

Desired Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience navigating Apple and Google stores for app distribution

  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure or other cloud provider PaaS services

  • Familiarity with a Devops environment

  • Familiarity with design patterns and microservices architecture

  • Active interest in new technology and emerging engineering practices

  • Experience with iterative development and agile methodologies

  • Experience working with distributed teams

  • Experience working in a cGMP compliant environment
