RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Salesforce (SF) Administration:

System maintenance

  • Primary Lead for SF environment management

  • Grant/remove and maintain user licenses

  • Maintain proper security levels: roles, profiles, hierarchies and territories especially as environment and business evolves to include more cross functional teams

  • Configure the proper record types, sharing rules, custom objects, pick lists and page layout customization to support vital business functions

  • Mange system changes without interruption to users

Level 1 Support

  • Primary contact for business unit support issues

  • Work with cross functional teams and CCS SFDC support to close out issues

  • Key contributor to customization including integration with external systems

User Assistance, Training and Adoption

  • Provide group and/or one-one training for new and existing users, including best practice documentation

  • Assist sales management in defining and monitoring processes for trends and team analysis

  • Proactively gather feedback from users to continually improve user experience

  • Monitor and improve data quality and integrity

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define use case and rollout plans

Reporting:

  • Define and prepare sales reports and dashboard not only in SF, using other department tools

  • Ad hoc reporting for peer departments, sales reps and sales management – reverse lookups, sales analysis

  • Back up for Sales Cube dart mart maintenance

Qualification:

  • 3-5 years Salesforce administration experience

  • Salesforce certified preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

  • Strong technical aptitude, project management and data analysis skills

  • Superior time management and organizational skills; ability to work with limited supervision

  • Strong cross functional relationships that support and move projects to closure

  • Customer focused, process oriented, creative thinker

  • Knowledge of SQL Server preferred, training provided

  • Knowledge of SSRS reporting a plus, not required

  • Solid understanding of our products and business model

  • Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards

  • Attend scheduled EH&S training program

  • Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans

  • Recommend improved EH&S practices

The incumbent is responsible for complying with UTC’s “Code of Ethics,” the “Policy Statement on Business Ethics and Conduct in Contracting with the U.S. Government,” and related policies. In executing his/her responsibilities, incumbent shall take all steps necessary to foster open communications and to support UTC’s compliance, business practices, DIALOG, and Ombudsman programs.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent of experience
