At Sensitech we value a user-centric approach at all stages of our product lifecycle from conception through design, development, and customer experience. As a UX CoOp, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to the User Experience team with UX design, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and user research. The UX CoOp will work closely with UX Designers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to produce design assets and assist with user research activities leading to engineering and delivery of business to business applications and mobile app software.

To be successful in this role you must display a genuine passion for user-centric interaction experience and innovation. You should have some experience or education involving a mix of interaction design, graphic design, and user research as well as a portfolio of your UX design and research examples.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Gather and evaluate requirements in collaboration with UX Designers, Product Managers and Engineers

  • Demonstrate interaction and design ideas using storyboards, user flows, wireframes and prototypes

  • Design graphical user interface elements and build out pages and navigational component designs

  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, icons, and other graphics)

  • Provide options/scenarios to meet product requirements with efficient user interfaces

  • Evaluate UX effectiveness of current applications

  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems and offer solutions based on user research



  • Senior (or 5th year student) Undergraduate, or Graduate program in Interaction Design, Human Factors (HCI), Computer Science or relevant field

  • Portfolio of research and design projects highlighting research and design for web-based applications, mobile applications & consumer facing web sites and/or applications

  • Working knowledge of design and wireframe tools (e.g. InVision, Sketch, Axure, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop)

  • Self-starter and motivated to expand skill set and experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Interest in new and emerging technologies

  • Ability to work well with ambiguity or when requirements are still in discovery

  • Artistic eye for design and ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational, time and project management skills


No travel required


  • Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements

  • Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards

  • Attend scheduled EH&S training program

  • Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans

  • Recommend improved EH&S practices
