JPMorgan Chase 55ip - Project Management (Product Consulting) - Vice President in Boston, Massachusetts
As a Project Management Associate for the Product Consulting team at 55ip you will be responsible for project as well as program level management activities across enterprise engagements.
You will be an integral part of a growing Product Consulting practice at 55ip that will develop and implement process improvements and best practices to aid product development and delivery for 55ip's growing list of enterprise clients.
Job Responsibilities:
The role requires strong leadership, client management and project management skills to ensure the effective execution and alignment of projects with client and organizational goals.
Project Planning : Drive the planning and scoping of enterprise engagements, working closely with clients, sales teams and internal stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements. Map the initiatives and workstreams on enterprise engagements to internal product teams and initiatives to create 'front-to-back' synergy between the development and delivery of 55ip solutions
Stakeholder Coordination and Communication: Establish strong relationships with key client stakeholders, senior executives and internal teams to facilitate the communication, alignment, collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Execution, Quality & Budget Management: Facilitate the successful execution of programs from each building block(workstream level) all the way to the project level ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and in adherence to quality standards.
Documentation & Collateral Management : Ownership and maintenance of project documentation, including meeting minutes, project charters, decision logs, RAID logs and any pertinent artifacts specific to enterprise engagements
Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues within the projects and proactively develop mitigation and contingency plans to address them.
Reporting : Manage stakeholder expectations by developing and managing an adequate 'state of the union' reporting framework that provides transparency right from the day-to-day to the overall progress of respective engagements.
Training and Onboarding: Facilitate the successful onboarding and training of new resources within the Product Consulting team on to active client engagements and bring them fully up to speed
Required Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
Over 5 years of experience in Financial Services or FinTech solutions with
Experience in Wealth Tech, Invest Tech, Implementations or enterprise SaaS preferred and
Over 3 years of experience as a Project Manager / Program Manager role preferred OR
Over 3 years of Consulting/Client facing roles preferred
Knowledge of / familiarity with investment products, financial markets and investment strategies
Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams
Problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify potential issues and provide appropriate solutions
Experience presenting to stakeholders and managing relationships across teams
Organizational abilities with the ability to influence, prioritize and manage across multiple programs
A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, computer science, engineering or related field is typically required. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management(e.g.,PMP) or related disciplines is preferred
