We engineer products for both consumers and enterprises that are equally critical to our value proposition. In addition, we are evolving our technology into a true global platform for integrating thousands of service providers to address the needs of this emerging space.
The App Release Manager will work closely with Product, Engineering, and the Delivery team to release our Consumer facing mobile applications. S/he is responsible for ensuring our releases go out on time and with high quality.
Upload and release HqO?s mobile apps to the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store
Monitor releases to address any issues, respond to app store rejections and/or questions, and oversee the successful release of the mobile applications
Coordinate with Product & Engineering on the release process driving continuous improvement and automation where possible
Communicate release status, identify blockers, and contribute towards issue resolution
Investigate and diagnose build failures and identify the right person to solve them
Educate and champion Release Engineering best-practices across Engineering
BS in Computer Science or related area of study
You have 3-5 years of relevant work experience
Experience with building and deploying iOS and Android apps
Expertise with Jenkins, Jira, git, and merge tools
Experience with Fastlane
A natural curiosity about how things work
Experience with CircleCI, TravisCI, container as a first class citizen, CI tools
Experience building and using tooling
Experience with selenium scripts
