Associate Project Manager – Microsoft Solutions The Associate Project Manager is accountable for managing the full life-cycle of Microsoft solutions, monitoring project performance and providing status updates to management and senior leadership. With direct client interaction, the Associate Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project lifecycle for multiple small projects simultaneously. The role reports to the Regional Delivery Manager. New Signature’s Project Managers play a critical role in ensuring a great customer experience, as well as identifying organic growth opportunities within existing clients. The ability to make prudent business decisions is a key attribute needed to be successful in this role. Responsibilities • Lead projects with the ability to properly initiate, plan, execute, control and close work to meet outlined success criteria. • Produce project deliverables consistent with project management methodologies to include, but not limited to, project schedules, staffing plans, status reports, communication plans, and lessons learned documentation. • Align project tasks and team accountabilities with boundaries of agreed-upon scope • Effectively coordinate activities of the project team • Communicate project expectations, issues and risks to project team and senior management • Monitor and report on project tasks, milestones, and estimated budget • Ensure project changes are properly identified, communicated, documented and managed • Facilitate meetings to discuss project status and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner • Follow standards for Project Management documentation and reporting • Interface with New Signature/client stakeholders regarding project status and issues • Support project teams to accomplish goals • Demonstrate accountability for the results of the team • Adherence to New Signature and Client Information Security policies shall be met and followed at all times Requirements • BA or BS Degree • 5-8 years of project management experience within the IT project field • Experience with Project Management concepts, deliverables, and techniques, managing project scope, staff scheduling, and budgets • Knowledge of standard SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall or Agile methodologies • Knowledge of the technologies in the Microsoft stack (Exchange, O365, Access and Identity, Azure, SharePoint, etc.) • Experience using MS Project / Project Online • Excellent verbal and written communications skills at the business and technical level • Exceptional organization skills and ability to multi-task • Ability to manage conflict resolution • Demonstrates leadership in motivating teams to high performance • Ability to work independently with little supervision • Able to work flexible hours, especially during critical project schedules • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master certification is a plus • Proficient with using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Travel We encourage our team members to meet with our customers in person for at least 20% of the time they are working together. Sometimes this requires travel outside of normal working hours.
