Description

The Global B2B team at Converse is a part of the Global Commercial team responsible for elevating the Global Wholesale experience. This team is in the process of implementing new process and technology, managing the in-season delivery of a high quality Wholesale B2B site and developing a plan for the future of Global B2B at Converse. Resources on the team must be able to handle large amounts of data, facilitate consensus, creatively eliminate roadblocks and most of all are flexible and open to react to all the opportunities ahead.

The B2B Global Data Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality data and images for the Global B2B tool.

Primary Responsibilities:

Seasonal Master Data:

  • Responsible for delivery of accurate and complete seasonal master data

  • Work with Cross-functional partners to cultivate resolution of data issues

  • Guide flow and communication of seasonal product copy data

  • Work with Regions to coordinate the seasonal range needs and resolve any Global data issues

  • Assists in the creation and management of the seasonal calendar as needed

Product Photography:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to track image status throughout the season

  • Report out seasonal status and escalate potential issues relating to catalog completeness

  • Facilitate the catalog proofing process to ensure quality and accuracy of images

Digital Activation:

  • Work closely with Global Commercial Content team to assemble seasonal Digital Showrooms

  • Develop and activate seasonal showrooms within Converse.Net

  • Manage workflow relating to Content lifecycle

Ongoing B2B Data Support:

  • Work with all regional teams to troubleshoot and resolve all B2B site issues. Identify causes and solutions

  • Coordinate timely resolution with the B2B vendor ensuring service levels are met

  • Identify and resolve functionality gaps identifying workarounds and risks associated

  • First line of support to Regional B2B team in troubleshooting B2B data and content issues

  • Provide quick reference guides and develop out the FAQ’s database

B2B New Regional Implementations & Functionality Releases:

  • Regularly participate in all business workshops (Design)

  • Contribute to the configuration and business rules documentation process

  • Create testing scripts and drive testing issues resolution

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in:

  • Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables, VLookup, Links, etc.) and PowerPoint. Access is a plus.

  • Team player who can remain organized while multi-tasking and can seamlessly react to changes in competing priorities

  • Effective communicator with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical users. This role requires extensive communication with regional and international partners

  • Refined organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field of study

  • 1-2 years of experience, preferably in Global Footwear, Apparel or Retail. Demonstrated experience mining and analyzing large amounts of data

  • B2B / Envoy, Flex PLM and/or SAP experience a plus

  • Experience supporting an e-commerce or B2B Digital Catalog or Order Capture site

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field of study

  • 1-2 years of experience, preferably in Global Footwear, Apparel or Retail. Demonstrated experience mining and analyzing large amounts of data
