A Change Management Consultant plays a key role in ensuring transformational projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. The main focus of this Change Management Consultant will be to provide change management support on Guidehouse engagements with energy providers where clients undertake transformational changes to their business processes, the underpinning technology, job roles and organizational structures. The primary responsibility of the Change Management Consultant will be to work closely with clients on developing and implementing change management strategies and plans that enable user adoption, maximize usage while minimizing resistance. Ultimately, this position will be expected to drive faster end user adoption, higher utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact client resources.
Change Management Consultant may also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of client’s organization managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Change Management Consultant will also support Guidehouse project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans. This role will also include responsibility for change management capability continuous improvement and resource development within the ES&I.
Apply Guidehouse change management methodology, processes, and tools to create a change strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project, program, or initiative.
Lead the design, development, delivery, and management of stakeholder communications.
Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
Evaluate and ensure end user readiness
Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Complete change management assessments
Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics
Identify and manage anticipated resistance
Develop/lead development of change management deliverables as defined by Guidehouse change management methodology (change management lead is expected to Support and engage senior client leaders
Coach client managers and supervisors
Support organizational design and (re)definition of roles and responsibilities
Integrate change management activities into project plan
Evaluate and ensure user readiness
Support change management at the organizational level
Support ES&I business development efforts, client proposals
Develop and mentor junior consultants
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent active listening skills
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Problem solving and root cause identification skills
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
Experience with leading teams and project management

Change management certification or designation, e.g., Prosci

The salary range for this role is 63,600 USD to $95,400 USD depending on qualifications
