IBM Client Solution Executive - East Coast in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

This role has the responsibility for the ongoing identification, development, and closing of large, complex, long-term services agreement with key accounts. Develops effective sales and solution strategies to address client business issues and key requirements. Leads cross functional teams to develop complex solutions for cloud, infrastructure and applications managed services. Able to negotiate complex long-term managed services agreements. Effective working with external and internal senior executives to gain support for strategies and meeting business commitments. CSE responsibilities include:

LOCATION - East Coast Candidates

  • Leading and closing complex, multi-year infrastructure, cloud, and applications management services opportunities

  • Establishing effective relationships with senior business and IT executives at mid-size and large clients

  • Directing managed services engagement teams consisting of financial, technical experts, legal, and negotiations experts.

  • Establishing relationships and working effectively with Third Party Advisors as part of the opportunity engagement process

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience: at least 7 years of experience in selling long term infrastructure and application managed services contracts

  • Leadership: ability to establish and get others to follow and execute sales strategies

  • Sales: ability to work effectively with c-suite executive across business and finance disciplines, ability to develop effective value positions that align with client requirements and business strategies

  • Teaming: ability to collaborate with large teams and other organizations to gain commitment and execute sales strategies
