EY Client Technology Professional Services Lead in Boston, Massachusetts

The opportunity

You will participate in a Global Practice as the CT Vendor Professional Services lead. Responsible for ensuring that CT operates in an effective and proactive manner to provide best in class services to our clients. Working with stakeholders you will help define the strategy, approach, plans and on-going approach for all Professional Services activities across Client Technology and the approaches and management. Monitor and review all activities in line with the strategic approach. Ensuring both business, technical and commercial goals are achieved.

Your key responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the overall CT Ecosystem lead and key stakeholders, input to, update, and support the management of the Professional Services strategy and service offering. Drive triple 80’s (fixed). Taking into account key strategic areas such as Balance of Trade in order that we are proactive in this area.

  • Define and manage analytics and reporting data. Required to establish a true picture of the task at hand and to measure progress and report against goals. Includes all elements such as QV and management reporting

  • Management actions required to meet the goals (triple 80’s)

  • Ownership and management of VTOC process and meeting

  • Review preparation including decisions

  • VTOC meeting ownership/facilitation

  • Results tracking and actions

  • Offline reviews and decision making

  • MRR Participation in order to drive to goals.

  • Dealing with vendor related escalations. Taking ownership of key issues and escalations through to resolution

  • Participation in preferred vendor status reviews. Conducted on regular basis

  • Ownership of RFP process if required for future iterations

  • Drive the proactive move to preferreds (approach, measure and manage)

  • Define and execute the agreed plans, driving strategic direction and targets. Process reviews and enhancements in support of this.

  • Working with the CT Ecosystem lead to ensure that control and value is gained from the strategy and approach. Define/drive actions required to mature Professional services offerings

  • Working with key stakeholders to ensure that the agreed strategy has all the required elements in place to support its success.

  • Working with key stakeholders, ensuring that the program is fit for purposed and aligned with new approaches and business direction

  • In conjunction with all stakeholders, ensuring that the strategy and approach are aligned with the CT operate model

  • Creating an environment of collaboration and knowledge sharing through avenues such as working groups and communities of practices.

  • Working with the respective CT teams, responsible for all aspects as they apply to applications and Professionals services delivery

  • Ensuring accurate, effective and timely communications.

  • Working with Technical, Commercial, appropriate Operations, Capability and Service Line leads, ensuring that migration plans are created and applied in order to ensure progress is made and value gained.

  • Conduct analysis of delivery results against the strategy and policies on a regular basis to ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed organizational standards and quality, technical and commercial requirements

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other EY T functions and customers to expedite delivery solutions

  • Make recommendations to the CT Ecosystems lead on the improvement of approach, processes and tools and where appropriate help to establish these

  • Ensuring strong insight to future direction of the capabilities and technology to ensure currency and future proofing.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a variety of IT related roles or similar (Project/Program Management) Function

  • 3rd Party Vendor Management knowledge

  • Demonstrable experience in the Processes and Procedures

  • Good experience in client-facing roles

  • Experience of working within complex, matrixed multi-location teams

  • Experience of working in large programmes of work
