Oracle Cloud Adoption, Sr Principal TPM in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

Must currently possess and have the ability to maintain a US Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance, with eligibility for polygraph.

Oracle's Government Defense and Intelligence (GDI) Group is looking for a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager experienced with bringing large enterprise and government mission environments into the cloud. In this role, you will be an essential part of a team responsible for shepherding government customers through the complex processes involved in building and accrediting new cloud solutions. You will work with internal organizations Oracle-wide to shape new customer offerings, clarify and influence strategic requirements, and then define and drive new engineering and policy work essential to customer mission success. You will also continuously engage with senior leaders in intelligence communities and military organizations to understand their priorities and enable forward progress.


  • Work closely with other teams of cloud engineers, but YOU are the leader. We will look to you to drive company-wide efforts to build and accredit cloud solutions

  • Be the source of truth. You own the integrated master schedule for your project(s), and you are the voice the drives the way forward. You will lead critical issues and help the larger team adapt and solve as we deliver for our customers

  • Develop and continually improve robust status mechanisms to keep internal/external collaborators aligned, and regularly contribute to executive-level business updates. As a very senior leader, you will help guide strategic decision making with a combination of experience and objective data/KPIs

  • Make us all better over time by driving continuous improvement, refining our process workflows to streamline customer cloud onboarding



  • Current, active US Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance, with eligibility for polygraph

  • Direct knowledge/experience with US government contract and system accreditation processes (RFP to ATO)

  • Exceptionally strong evidence of effective large-scale program management and communication skills

  • Ability to collect, organize, and present data and ideas using effective visual representations

  • 8+ years of experience with large enterprise/cloud-level information technology, data migration, cyber security, and compliance

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Project or similar, and Atlassian tools like Confluence and Jira

  • Experience developing solutions in at least one Commercial Cloud environment, especially in classified environments, with preference to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

  • Experience planning enterprise migrations to the cloud, and delivering secure landing zones

  • Experience implementing and configuring networks in Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, or other Cloud environments, especially in classified environments

  • Proven track record of effective executive communication strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), Cloud Computing (CC) Security Requirements Guide (SRG), and FedRAMP

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $104,000 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
