Oracle Cloud Consulting Project Director in Boston, Massachusetts

Cloud Consulting Project Directors are passionate about the successful delivery of our cloud implementations! Top-tier consulting project directors play an integral role in the adoption of Oracle cloud applications, confirming we have wildly successful clients, and ensuring our clients are Oracle champions - serving as references in the market.

As a Cloud Consulting Project Director for some of our largest engagements, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our engagements. To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for client success, bolstered by the project management chops needed to confirm the successful delivery of your programs.

We are looking for change agents with established records of leading large-scale cloud delivery; people who measure success in terms of lifetime client enablement. You find happiness in connecting the dots between people, processes, and technology. You take pride in your ability to handle expectations and provide transparency as you guide clients from their current state to their future state.

Responsibilities

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in new deal pursuits and helping us grow our business.

  • Confirming that projects are implemented successfully and within the original deal construct (i.e., revenue and margin). 

  • Building positive relationships with Oracle North America Applications (NAA) sales and product development, working collaboratively with them to address client needs throughout the delivery of our programs.

  • Developing long-lasting client relationships, showing your skills as a trusted advisor who our clients can depend on. 

  • Developing and mentoring the people around you to excel in their role, achieving great things for the career, our business, and our clients.

  • Collaborating with your colleagues to create thought leadership and to improve the way we deliver in the market.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Consulting Project Directors will have experience in consulting services roles, preferably in software application services and delivery. Ideally, you will be a creator, tinkerer, builder, analyzer, optimizer - someone who instinctively analyzes experiences to determine how to make them better.

More specifically, you will have the experience described below:

  • Passion for and ability to have cross-industry consultative conversations regarding business challenges and opportunities building trusted advisory relationships with customers.

  • Deep product and market expertise in Cloud Delivery, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and key trends in the industry.

  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability product line and/or Cloud transformation consulting.

  • Shown experience leading end-to-end success of cloud solutions across Product and other functions including Marketing, Sales, Service, and/or Support.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Able to handle challenging meetings with internal and external executives.

  • Hands on - not just a leader/talker but someone who wants to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

  • Technical proficiency and business acumen.

  • Entrepreneurial. A highly collaborative leader who can navigate different personalities, work well in teams, and believes that 1+1=>3.

  • A strong focus on ownership and execution. Someone with the appropriate level of drive and “toughness” to effectively manage in a fast-paced and at time ambiguous environment, ensuring results and goals are achieved.

  • A strong balance of strategic and tactical skills, with a high level of intellectual, agility and capacity for original thought.

  • Focuses on actions and outcomes; driven to over achieve.

  • An outstanding communicator who can write, present and effectively adjust messages to meet individual audiences and organizations.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $98,500 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
