The Candidate shall apply a systems level working knowledge of the fundamentals of configuration/data management for both hardware and software to perform configuration identification, configuration status accounting (CSA), change control, system verification reviews/functional configuration audits and physical configuration audits, deficiency reporting, data management, and engineering data management.
Apply the fundamentals of configuration management to establish and maintain consistency of a product’s performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life.
Analyze the impacts of the configuration management change process on lifecycle sustainment.
Assist in the development and management of all Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) requirements.
Assist with the planning and implementation of Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and confirm the adequacy of data used to support these audits.
Participate in Government review/meetings/working groups as applicable and in government and industry teams for the resolution of complex configuration management issues.
Assist in developing the Configuration Control Board (CCB) charter and assist in the execution of the CCBs. T
Review/develop/update applicable program documentation for configuration/data management relevant requirements.
Establish and maintain consistency of a product’s performance, functional and physical attributes with its requirements, design and operational information throughout its life.
Analyze the impacts of the configuration management change process on life cycle sustainment.
Identify all pertinent sources of and uses for configuration management data.
Confirm the adequacy of data for use in system verification reviews (functional) and physical configuration audits and perform said audits.
Propose resolution to conflicting engineering change proposal recommendations.
Participate in government and industry team reviews to the resolve complex configuration management issues.
Assist data users and requestors with the assessment of proposed configuration management changes and impact systems sustainment and supportability requirements and provide the Government with findings and recommendations.
Shall be capable of using GIT/Gila to manage and control software source code repositories, baseline product releases/deliveries, and all associated documentation.
Capable of using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Project, and MS Access to prepare spreadsheets, briefings, figures, graphics, tables, forms, and papers, providing finished products; technical and non-technical, classified and unclassified; in the media and format requested.
Provide advisory assistance in design, development, and/or implementation of the XZS-SIMAF Common Data Repository (CDR) solution. The CDR is currently in development and will contain and correlate all data associated with a product and/or product line. The Candidate shall assist with formulating data architectures that will facilitate CM of the stored artifacts.
Experience in managing and updating manual and electronic files, databases, and archiving systems as required.
Enforcing and maintaining the processes contained in the SIMAF Data Management and Archiving Plan (DMAP). Specialized Knowledge, Experience, Tasks, or Qualifications Required.
