As a member of RealPage’s Mixed Portfolio marketing team, which focuses on Buildium, Propertyware, All Property Management and Investor Management Services, you’ll help shape and execute the stories that we tell over a wide variety of mediums across our brands. Better yet, you’ll work in a supportive environment where bad puns, adventurous ideas, and debates over oxford commas are celebrated.

Reporting to the Director of Content, and supporting a team of savvy and imaginative marketers, your day-to-day responsibilities will include the conceptualization, creation, editing, and publishing of a wide array of deliverables to execute and optimize the content strategy including: blog posts, guides, video scripts, and other adhoc creative pieces that you haven’t even thought of yet.

  • Ideate and execute content strategies for the Buildium, Propertyware, All Property Management and Investor Management Services brands

  • Develop your own heavy-hitting content pieces and voice in the industry

  • Manage, edit, and cultivate a small team of freelancers to craft written content that drives and captures top-of-funnel traffic

  • Optimize, tweak, and link content on a regular clip so we’re always getting the most out of visitors on our site

  • Participate in creative meetings with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand the purpose and scope of each creative project

  • Support in ad-hoc marketing requests. We have processes in place, but sometimes we just need something quickly :)

  • Grow your prowess as an editor/collaborator with a penchant for brand

  • Live into storytelling and content that aligns with our brand essence and involves our customers and SMEs

  • Become a key player on the creative and demand-gen team. Work with the designer, web designer, videographer and marketing copywriter to create and then promote your stories to drive MQLs

  • Assist with search-optimized content copy updates, getting to the core of how the our stories are experienced

  • Update and revamp existing pieces as directed

  • Provide inputs to continue to evolve content guidelines and how we storytell to our audiences

  • has 3-5 years of hands-on professional writing experience

  • has a Bachelor’s degree in literature, journalism, or marketing

  • is able to express clear ideas and concepts in a punchy voice that sticks to the brand/content guidelines

  • is well organized, responsible, and dedicated with the ability to work on projects with multiple stakeholders and deliver refined editorial content on a cadence

  • understands keyword research and SEO to fuel ideation and how to incorporate it into content pieces

  • has great time management skills and is able to meet content calendar deadlines (and ask for extensions when needed)

  • is able to pay attention to detail and accuracy

  • is able to give and receive constructive criticism with minimal ego

  • has the nature to be curious and share nerdy grammar rules with the rest of the team

Portfolio required.

Proficiency with style guides (AP & Chicago) and writing for blog posts, guides, and other visually-driven assets. Understands how to take SaaS product features and sneakily connect them to pain points inside broader content topics that drive MQLs. Familiarity with Wordpress and Google docs/slides/sheets. Must be a storyteller, grammarian, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus points for a working knowledge of:

  • A/B Testing

  • UX and UI

  • Saas-based or tech experience a plus
