Skyword Creative Project Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Skyword's Creative Project Manager will support one of Skyword?s largest B2B Technology client relationships - overseeing all aspects of project management - including, but not limited to, content production, schedule management, and deliverable tracking. In the role, you will be a strategic partner to the Skyword team overseeing the account. You will work directly with the external client team and internal resources to ensure both parties are working in lockstep to accomplish objectives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal resources, the client, and creative partners in the smooth execution of projects ? ensuring that the process for content delivery is fully understood and owned by the appropriate party for each asset.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including, but not limited to, project plans, schedules, and deliverable trackers for all client priorities.

  • Partner with the Director, Content Services to measure client health and support initiatives to improve help to drive toward renewal.

  • Facilitate productive internal team meetings by creating clear agendas and tracking action items.

  • Use creative solutions to prioritize competing initiatives to help your team maintain focus.

  • Identify process gaps, workflow improvement needs, resource deficiencies, and potential roadblocks and escalate to management as needed.

  • Work closely with the Creative team and Skyword?s management team to ensure each project is following mandatory client workflows and internal quality control milestones.

  • Manage and document changes in project scope, schedule, and costs formally to ensure client alignment.

  • Improve processes and help implement new workflows as client priorities shift.

  • Support the client relationship by making expectations around task ownership and timing transparent.

  • Coordinate communication between the client?s additional agency partners as necessary.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • Knowledge of project management software such as SmartSheets

  • Advanced Excel skills preferred

Location

The preferred location for this candidate is in the Boston area, to eventually work out of our Boston office in a post COVID world. We are however, open to qualified candidates outside of Massachusetts who would work remotely from their home.
