Position Description:

Software Engineering position:

This position is for a DevOps engineer to work in the asset allocation technology division of an investment management firm. The client is staffing multiple squads to address development priorities for 2019.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

This individual will support agile scrum teams who will be developing application code performing tasks to Deploy software and manage systems configuration through development, testing and prod environments. The resource will collaborate with software developers, system operators and other IT staff members to manage code releases. They cross and merge the barriers that exist between software development, testing and operations teams and keep existing networks in mind as they design, plan and test.

There are many DevOps toolsets, however the primary tool listed by the client is Docker.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Resource should have a background in developing high quality software and performing thorough unit testing

Software Engineering: 8+ Years

DevOps: 2+ Years
