We are looking for a digital content specialist that will develop great engaging content, contribute to the on-going improvement of our digital properties and make the world a healthier place.

Content Development:

  • Working alongside our content manager, you will be responsible for owning the bulk of our day-to-day content needs. You will work cross-functionally with team members on every aspect of our US digital marketing strategy to write engaging, powerful content for all of our buyer types (Patients, HCPs, and Laboratorians).

  • You will help write, edit, proof and/or publish updates to our digital properties and demand generation campaigns via CMS and marketing automation tools.

  • You will be part of a growing multidisciplinary customer experience team, and get to contribute across development of digital tools, patient experience, video production and more.

Project Management:

  • We are looking for a contributor that can operate in a high-velocity business and produce a high volume of great content to elicit behavior change and evoke emotion.

  • You will be responsible for on-going evaluation and update of content-in-market. This means working with the team and consistently evaluating all of our metrics to identify areas of strength and weakness and make specific recommendations on how to address them and execute a project plan to accomplish those goals.

Responsibilities:

  • You are a great writer.

  • This is a 'get-your-hands-dirty' position. You will be writing content that will drive impact and change with the reader. Your creativity and ability to humanize science in a way that is approachable and memorable will be vital to your success.

  • You understand that working with other SMEs and picking up existing work for editing is part of the job. When someone gives you lemons, you write a great blog post about lemonade.

  • You know the tools.

  • You have to have a good eye for content and user experience but also you need to have the technical skills to make your vision real for others.

  • Some on-the-job familiarity with Adobe Experience Master (AEM), Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics, Social media, and advertising are expected.

  • You must have exceptional relationship building skills. You need to have good people skills to ensure that you build a rapport with the team. Collaboration and engagement are key in this role as you are working on multiple projects across the department and organization.

  • You are organized, proactive and take attention to detail personally. This role is in the details and you are master of your domain. This team is high energy, passionate about what we do and demand excellence.

  • You thrive in dynamic environments and deal well with ambiguity. Our commercial world is fast-paced. This role will require you to excel at the tasks directly in front of you, while also keeping your eye on the big picture. Project timelines can be compressed and high-pressure situation requiring quick decision making are routine. If you are expecting your boss to give you a task list, this is not the job for you.

  • You are smart and learn quickly. You must be able to collaborate on everything from social media, to public relations and scientific/medical journals. Prior product/industry knowledge is not required, but you must have the skills and ambition to get up to speed quickly.

  • You are a good teammate. We are better when we have super talented people working together. We each have unique expertise and ideas that support our goals. This role is no different. We like working together and our team dynamic is important to us because it means that we have fun and get stuff done.

How will you get there?

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Experience:

  • 3-4 years of experience in content creation or digital marketing is preferred but not required

  • Be prepared to submit a portfolio of your work as part of the interview process.
