UX Designers at CVS Health contribute to digital product design efforts and solve complex business challenges under the guidance from UX Leads or managers. Having support from a talented digital team, this individual would have the opportunity to drive strategic direction and execution on a high visibility project within CVS Pharmacy. The UX designer should be a natural collaborator who has experience driving high quality design in a large organization. This individual should be comfortable working both independently at times, and with a team. They’ll have the opportunity to provide strategic direction, provide recommendations and influence strategic decision making. The ideal candidate should be someone who’s willing to dive into the details, have well rounded experience in UX design, strong visual design skills, and familiarity with accessibility.Responsibilities:• Collaborating with UX team members and product, business and technology partners to ensure shared understanding of business and user goals.• Create UX flows and wireframes with input from UX Leads and Managers.• Create prototypes for usability testing and work with more senior team members to define customer personas and user flows. • Comfortable conducting competitor and inspiration research and auditing current experiences to fuel innovating thinking.• Collaborate with Senior Designers, UX Leads, and Managers to design and define breakthrough user experiences, drawing inspiration from research, user goals, and the world around you.• Comfortable rolling up their sleeves and diving into the details as needed.• Partner with content strategists, UI designers, and Accessibility designers to ensure all work is compliant with our brand, content, and accessibility guidelines.• Comfortable with facilitating design thinking sessions, design sprints, and presentations.
• 5+ years of experience in UX design• Experience partnering with multiple groups (Development, Product Management, Research, etc.) to define and execute on a product development roadmap across multiple projects• 5+ years of experience (expertise) in responsive web design and mobile UX• Demonstrated experience leveraging user research effectively• Hands on experience with wire framing and prototyping tools• Deep knowledge of full user experience design process and ability to contribute at any level.• Strong portfolio of work including examples of mobile web, desktop and app experiences.• Proficiency in Sketch and InVision and/or other industry-standard design tools.• Experience working with design systems, content strategists or accessibility professionals.• Experience driving high quality design, demonstrating strong UX and visual design skills.• Experience with agile and lean software development practices.• Comfortable and have experience working on projects that require adaptability and collaboration.
• Experience in medical or other highly regulated fields• Ability to dive into projects at any level of definition with creativity and drive.• Ability to conceptualize, design, and deliver experiences.• Ability to communicate user needs and demonstrate how proposed designs solve those to internal team and other stakeholders.• Ability to collaborate with designers, strategists, managers, and technologists• Ability to present to senior stakeholders and build support UX work initiatives (Ability to direct the work of others)• Attention to detail and passion for excellence• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and other web technologies
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, Human Factors or equivalent/relevant work experience.
