Radius Health, Inc. Director, Decision Support in Boston, Massachusetts
Radius Health is seeking a highly strategic, detailed oriented, and innovative Director of Decision Support. The Director of Decision Support will work closely with the internal and external stakeholders to build the commercial infrastructure across data assets, commercial integration, reporting, and commercial systems. Responsible for business intelligence, data warehousing and reporting needs within the commercial organization. This role will be part of the Business Intelligence and Digital group (BI&D), which is responsible for Business analysis, Marketing, Market insights, our IDN strategy and key Digital efforts.
Responsible for optimizing an operational data management strategy, roadmap, and prioritization process
Develop and maintain a data infrastructure, which includes but is not limited to the data model, data warehouse, MDM, & all integration points as well as working closely with internal commercial stakeholders, such as owners of our SP/SD network, HUB, Marketing, and Field CRM areas
Monitors and manages the inflow / outflow and organization of commercial data, including patient-level data gathered at the specialty pharmacy, patient hub; Symphony claims and other third-party data; specialty distributor data; data on promotional activity
Collaborate effectively with commercial functions to support understanding of available data and capabilities and support all commercial analytics
Partner with technical teams to ensure infrastructure supports data model requirements and provide guidance for necessary enhancements
Determine optimal data sources and ensure data integrity and acting as principal contact for the development/distribution of commercial reports
Design special reports and conduct ad hoc analyses as needed, and continually identify areas for improvement with internal partners
Continuously refine and improve reports and data visualization to support commercial effectiveness and decision-making
Hire, direct and supervise an internal team, and manage outside consultants and other third-party contacts as necessary
7+ years of biopharma operations, marketing, and IT experience
Deep understanding of and explicit experience with syndicated data, sales, marketing, and market access data within a pharmaceutical/biotechnology company
Proven track record of building and/or managing commercial data infrastructure and leading projects implementing data systems while meeting timelines and budgets
Experience in BI Analytics tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategies, PowerBI, etc.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Highly collaborative individual with ability to coordinate in a matrix environment
Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills
