Overview of Job Function:

The HR Oracle Applications Directoroversees design, deployment, and management of Oracle HCM systems at Verint Systems. The director is a leader as well as hands-on technical expert for HRITand will help execute a technology roadmap that balances the strategic and operational needs of HR. This individual will be responsible for project oversight, program delivery, and general system enhancements in support of HR’s priorities and goals. The director will lead a team of developers and administrators passionate about critical initiatives, improving HR system and business capability, new systems evaluations, new functionality, innovation, automation and overall value realization for HR and IT. S/He will partner with HR and other partners to help design and deliver the technology strategy and roadmap. S/He will help transform the organization to be more elastic and to deliver speed at scale.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the stabilization of the Oracle HCM applications and manage the HR Information Technology team in the various initiatives, with management of the Core HR, Performance Management, Compensation Management, Recruiting, HR Portal, Employee Engagement Platform and various HR Services enabling technologies, reporting and security management.

  • Manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the core enabling technologies, including Integration cloud services, case management, knowledge base and electronic records management.

  • Coordinate with the HR IT Sr. Director in planning tactical, strategic, and operational priorities to develop and implement business continuity plan for all HR systems.

  • Partner with the HRIS and Global HR teams to effectively manage HR systems.

  • Oversee the development and roll out of various HR System Reporting needs of the global business users and various other departments (Finance and Operations), including the data warehouse.

  • Lead the planning and testing of system upgrades, including the scheduling of the patching and key activities and communicating of system downtime to appropriate parties.

  • Possess deep knowledge of HR system processes, advise on best practices for optimizing the use of HR tools, drive global HR process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility.

  • Production Support: Collect the HR enhancement requests and manage the production support tasks using the Service Now Applications. Manage the metrics to meet the company service level agreements in supporting the users.

  • System Maintenance - Act as a super-user and leader for Oracle HCM system. Lead the team in the review, testing, and implementation of the new HCM modules, upgrades and/or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.

  • Reports/Queries – Lead the team in writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing HCM and Verint reporting tools. Establish an efficient and auditable process for the maintenance and development of standard reports for ongoing HR requirements.

  • Training – Lead and Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation using OGL. Train clients on new processes/ functionality.

  • Establish partnerships with 3rd party vendors to ensure effective service delivery.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent work experience.

  • 12+ years' HR Technology experience with 3 of those years as a business partner.

  • Extensive working knowledge of global ERP systems and/or SaaS tools and experience with at least 5 overall implementations in Oracle EBS and 2 implementations on Oracle Cloud HCM Information Systems including security and reporting.

  • 8+ years' progressive people management experience including managing and motivating large, complex teams.

  • Strong knowledge of, and experience with applications that support HR Systems: Core HR, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, talent management (e.g., performance management, succession planning), learning management, payroll, time & attendance

  • Experience working with Oracle ERP HR systems as well as business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, OBIEE) and 3rd party applications/SAAS. Strong Oracle HCM experience is mandatory.

  • Knowledge of IT design principles and practices.

  • Accomplished Project Management skills to lead and roll out multiple projects successfully.

  • Experience in managing service level agreements in a metrics driven organization.

  • Ability to develop and maintain 3rd party vendor relationships and contracts, add input to relevant contract negotiations in partnership with procurement and legal colleagues as needed.

  • Domestic and international travel required, up to 20%.

  • US Remote role. Must be located in EST time zone.

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations

  • The ability to obtain the necessary credit line required to travel.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience working with Service Now and/or related technologies.

  • Experience in resolving sophisticated business, systems, data, and program delivery challenges

  • Experience in generating HR Compliance reports (EEO & VETS etc.)

  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with technical & non-technical partners (at all levels) Demonstrable ability to lead and work with large multi-functional teams globally across time zones, including a track record of successful program delivery using agile, waterfall, and/or hybrid approaches.

  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and fully understand and adopt Verint values and leadership model in daily management work.

  • Good mix of technical and functional business background. Positive, collaborative and solution-oriented demeanor.
