We are actively seeking a Director, IT/IS to join our team!

Work Responsibilities:

As the Director, IT/IS, you will:

  • Build and lead a team of high performing data systems analysts responsible for creating and interpreting advanced analytics, including completing an assessment of existing talent

  • Oversee development, prioritization, and implementation of new IT roadmaps

  • Develop and improve existing data processes

  • Implement long-term organizational data analytics roadmap and strategies

  • Develop and implement, data governance, quality, ownership, and literacy processes across organization and sustainment plan

  • Define data quality KPI's and metrics related to data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness

  • Develop and implement policies, guidelines, business definitions, metrics, and standards for managing data

  • Lead development and maintenance of strong, strategic business partnerships with Business Units, HQ functions, and key IT leadership to proactively facilitate collaboration and best practice sharing in support of new initiatives and opportunities

  • Establish and maintain strategic external and retail partnerships, including negotiations of resource contracts (people and systems)

  • Champion the implementation and adoption of new IT/analytic initiatives both conceptually and in the fulfillment of critical tools and processes

  • Establish and lead Agile methodology for solution design and processes across IT department to focus on core business values, dynamic adaptation, customer satisfaction, and increasing efficiencies for faster results

  • Ensure balanced, appropriate, and optimum delivery of technology solutions for systems and processes across all MSS business areas and service groups

  • Build, guide, and coach an efficient high performing team to adapt to changing enterprise, business needs, and required skill sets

  • Effectively interface with leadership and stakeholders regarding project deliverables, project status, issue management, and budget spend

  • Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives

Diverse Skills and Experience That You Will Bring to the Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required; master’s degree or MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of relevant IT/Business Intelligence professional experience

  • Experience managing/leading IT teams

  • Possess strong leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority

  • Ability to think strategically and balance multiple projects

  • Effectively communicate and engage with all levels within organization

  • Validated project management experience, including successfully setting priorities, meeting schedules, and managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight as needed – up to 25%
