Job Description
Our organization is expanding, and we are seeking a motivated and adaptable Chief of Staff to support our senior management at Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI). Acting as a strategist, consultant, and implementer, the successful candidate will ensure streamlined activities across the organization, aligned with the priorities of senior leadership. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution, working closely with executives. The role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to review, design, and implement process improvements, identify knowledge and skill gaps, and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Rhythm of the Business and Roadmap
Drive business management functions to maintain the team's operating rhythm (e.g., staff meetings, critical project reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, product reviews).
Develop and execute engagement plans for team communications, including all-hands meetings, AMA sessions, townhalls, and employee feedback.
Act as a liaison between staff, executives, and senior leadership, addressing organizational climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning.
Support the leadership team in planning and executing the organizational roadmap and strategic initiatives.
Promote a culture of coaching, innovation, and agility to support the organization's success.
Drive Operational & HR Excellence
Collaborate closely with Human Resources and leadership to identify and implement strategies that meet organizational people goals.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations to ensure smooth integration of new hires and effective resolution of employee concerns.
Build and maintain relationships across the organization to drive operational efficiency and responsiveness, and develop new strategies alongside the Vice President and other executives.
Manage Headcount & Organizational Budget
Oversee budget management, including headcount planning, allocations, and purchase orders (POs).
Provide consultation on resource planning and budget management, participating in strategic decisions to maximize the financial success of the organization.
Assist in implementing policies that align with overall group strategy.
Drive Executive Initiatives & Communications
Lead critical executive programs and initiatives (e.g., improving organizational operations, driving Diversity & Inclusion efforts).
Establish frameworks for new programs, kick-start initiatives, and set teams up for success.
Provide interim leadership and support for resource gaps until positions are filled.
Manage communications for VP-level sponsorships, events, customer engagements, PR activities, and thought leadership initiatives.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the organization, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and ensuring effective communication.
Responsibilities
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in business, product, or operations planning.
Proven experience in conflict resolution, with strong judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
Excellent attention to detail, combined with structured and creative thinking.
Track record of organizing and directing multiple teams; direct people management experience is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly versatile, dedicated to driving productivity and efficiency.
Experience in strategic planning and leading cross-functional initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
Experience with budget management and financial planning.
Creative problem-solver with a nimble, business-minded approach.
Proficient in project reporting, with a focus on fostering interdepartmental communication.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range: from $130,000 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
