Sonos Director, Product Management - Software Solutions for the Professional Audience in Boston, Massachusetts

The Director of Product Management of Software Solutions for the Professional audience will establish the direction and influence our investment for experiences targeting the Professional audience - that is, software and services that go to market through professional installers for residential and commercial spaces as well as direct to business owners.
We are seeking a passionate product management leader focused on the intersection of technology and customers to guide a team of product managers with the charge for Sonos’ Professional software solutions; looking across mobile, web, 1st and 3rd party surfaces.
You are an experienced Product Management leader who focuses on the customer and experiences first, and loves unlocking easy and delightful experiences with technology. You will manage the product vision and roadmap for how Sonos users interact with our products and services, directly contributing to growth and engagement of Sonos customers.
What You’ll Do
Serve as a product leader through building, managing, and executing a product vision and roadmap designed to create compelling customer-loved products in line with the company’s business strategy and growth objectives.
Champion a team of product managers, responsible for fostering a healthy and inclusive team environment along with providing coaching and growth.
Responsible for business strategy including assessing market opportunity, establishing business metrics to anticipate, measure, and evaluate product health and success.
Understand the customer’s problems and desires, define unique opportunities and experiences for Sonos to earn loyalty and increase engagement.
Synthesize and drive product strategy across internal business stakeholders: executive team, engineering, user experience, sales & marketing.
Leverage insights, data, and industry trends to identify and drive experiences and technology that improve the user experience to drive engagement and business results.
Foster a culture of innovation while continuing to scale the product organization. Help the team grow into positions of influence and scale.
Work cross-functionally and drive towards product vision while fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
Identify, size, and shape new opportunities to solve problems, increase engagement of current customers along with increasing Sonos’ overall customer base, and influence investment choices that will provide long-term innovation in the space.
What You’ll Need
8+ years of experience in a Product Management leadership role with experience creating and driving roadmaps for a customer-focused SaaS product.
Experience guiding teams and coaching product managers.
Demonstrated success in collaborating cross functionally and helping build teams across product management, engineering, user experience, sales & marketing.
Experience leveraging data and insights to drive product vision and experiences.
Entrepreneurial product leader who has developed and grown large, successful software solutions.
Comfortable diving into technical details, but also eager to address industry-wide strategic dynamics.
Outcome oriented leader who can drive results leading cross-functional teams with influence.
Exceptional verbal and written communicator with a knack for making complex topics simple and evangelizing and inspiring people at all levels of the organization based on a shared vision.
We consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may cause compensation to vary depending on your skills, experience and qualifications. This job is also eligible for discretionary bonuses as well as an opportunity to become a Sonos shareholder because all full time employees are eligible for stock grants.
