As Director of Technical Program Management at Salesforce in the Commerce Cloud Engineering team, you will work on multiple special projects including large scale umbrella projects to drive anything from security best practices to new innovative technologies or processes including working with key executives and partner teams to integrate with their engineering roadmap and deliverables. • Ensure data is collected to appropriately advise decision making for mitigating risks and resolving issues

  • Utilize internal tools and agile approach to build a collaborative environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation and continuous improvement

  • Drive a continuous focus on developing software based solutions or using automation to replace repeatable, operational tasks

  • Anticipate and purposefully remove obstacles that slow down or prevent programs from delivering on program objectives. Drive for clarity to keep teams moving forward

  • Provide “go-to” leadership, clarity and visibility to the entire commerce cloud and support organizations

  • Seek to continuously grow by proactively seeking and adopting constructive feedback

  • Create a collaborative environment that cultivates creativity, innovation, and learning

  • Be a thought leader within the organization, and help advance our Security, Scale and Availability postures

  • Strong organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills.

  • Expertise in being the hub of execution across all functions of the organization

  • Ability to understand technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program

  • Able to work well in a cross-functional, geographically distributed environment

  • Comfortable bending between the tactical and strategic

  • Ability to manage/juggle contending priorities without loss of efficiency

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, demonstrable ability to track and execute engineering programs

  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration; in a cross-functional, matrix management environment

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior leaders and technical and non-technical team members alike
