Verizon Emerging Technologies Entry-Level Opportunities in Boston, Massachusetts
What you’ll be doing...
This entry-level role – which is part of the Verizon Campus Program – will give you a chance to channel your drive and enthusiasm. You’ll be front and center, hands-on and contributing your creative energy to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive. You will put your degree to use and gain experience in a new field through on-the-job training. As part of the Global Network Management organization, you will help keep our customers all over the world connected with their work. Whether a Developer, Architect, or Analyst, you will make life easier for our customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Leading trials in the 5G labs and developing proofs of concepts that are 3-5 years out to show how emerging technology can be used.
Contributing to ongoing PoCs by providing research, analysis, and technical support to advance the goals of the Time-Sensitive Network project.
Participating in Lab related activities, including benchmarking, configuration, and data insights reporting.
Delivering strategic recommendations for emerging technologies (e.g., IOT, Blockchain, Cloud Interconnectivity), based on trend and market analysis for an approved topic.
Supporting team in research and/or strategic analysis for ongoing projects.
You must be currently enrolled in a degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered.

Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related major with an expected completion date by August 2021.
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
Willingness to work in Boston, MA
Even better if you have:
Strong analytical skills, communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with statistical analysis and machine learning,
