What You Will Do :
The Enterprise Architect will collaborate as a member of the Digital Transformation team to maintain and update digital hardware, software, and services in support of established enterprise goals. The Enterprise Architect is responsible for working with the client, leading, and overseeing the designing and maintaining the overall architecture of our client. The role involves developing and implementing strategies that leverage technology to enhance business operations and improve customer experience. The Enterprise Architect will work closely with the organizations business leaders, IT teams, and external partners. This role requires leadership, communication, and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of digital technologies and their impact on business operations.
Responsibilities:
Identify business requirements and ensure that the technology infrastructure supports those requirements.
Work with other IT professionals to ensure that systems are integrated and aligned with the organization's goals and strategies.
Develop and maintain enterprise-wide architectures, frameworks, and guidelines to ensure consistency and interoperability across systems.
Planning and executing the technology strategy and ensuring that the organization's technology investments are aligned with its business objectives.
Work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide recommendations for technology solutions.
Perform hands-on reviews to ensure quality client deliverables.
Develop trusted relationships with clients.
What You Will Need :
The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
A BS degree with a minimum of 7 years’ experience with a preference for an advanced degree
Technical expertise: Extensive knowledge of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure. They should be proficient in programming languages, software development, and database management.
Strategic thinking skills: The ability to think strategically and develop a long-term vision for the organization's IT infrastructure.
Business acumen: Understand the business requirements and objectives of the organization and translate these requirements into technology solutions that support the organization's goals.
Communication skills: Communication skills, both verbal and written. They must be able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and effectively communicate with team members and vendors.
Leadership skills: Coach a small team of IT professionals.
Analytical skills: Evaluate and assess complex IT systems and processes.
Collaboration skills: Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors.
What Would Be Nice to Have:
Education/Certifications Preferred:
MS degree in science, technology, engineering, or math
AWS Certified Solution Architect
The Open Group TOGAF 9 Certification
CISSP Information Systems Security Architecture Professional
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Experience Preferred:
Experience working with the Department of Defense, specifically the Army
Familiarity with current DOD and Army Data and the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
Experience with Army PEO-EIS enterprise programs. These include but are not limited to any combination of the following programs:
Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army)
Advanced Analytics Tool (ADVANA)
Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)
General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
Army Vantage
Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program Hub (AESIP Hub)
Understanding of data mesh, data warehouse, and/or data lake concepts
Experience with strong data management and data governance
Experience with data dictionaries and other supporting documentation
The annual salary range for this position is $78,600.00-$157,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
