Salesforce Developer/ Admin

The Federal Reserve is developing a new interbank 24x7x365 real-time gross settlement (RTGS) service with integrated clearing functionality, called the FedNow service. This service will help enable financial institutions provide their customers with the ability to send and receive payments any time, any day, and have full access to those funds within seconds. This position is a unique opportunity to be part of a new mission-critical Federal Reserve initiative that will be transformative to the payments landscape in the United States.

*Position Contributions- *
The Salesforce Developer will deliver key elements of our customer facing support and enablement platform. The Salesforce Developer's role is to work with business partners to realize the full capability of the CRM to deliver best in class customer experiences. You'll be responsible for design and development of customizations, extensions, configurations, and integrations.
You’ll drive highly visible Salesforce initiatives across the organization including building applications on the platform and supporting integrations with Salesforce and FedNow. You’ll also deliver workflows to deliver shared experiences, in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
You will work alongside Salesforce Administrators, business owners, and other members of the FedNow Technology Team.
You’ll have experience in agile delivery, bringing tools and processes to life to improve and enhance product effectiveness.

What will be expected of you in this role-

• Build Salesforce applications using Apex and Visualforce etc. and leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support the company's programs
• Create/modify existing controllers, controller extensions, triggers etc across all platforms.
• Develop customer-centric applications and products with a highly interactive UI
• Perform configuration and customization of the platform.
• Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation
• Partner with System-wide Salesforce Centers of Excellence
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, etc.
• Act as a point of escalation for Service Desk for advanced issue resolution
• Ensure service level availability of the platform and integration applications and provide on-call support for break/fix/enhancement activities to resolve application issues
• Implement customer-based solutions and develop products on the platform using Apex and Visual Force
• Assist with the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades and new releases
• Integrate multiple systems with Salesforce, including internal proprietary and third party applications
• Configure and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, custom workflows, approval processes, installed packages, etc. within
• Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
• Manage data feeds and other integrations
• Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.

*Education and Experience *
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field
• 4 years experience with development including modification of standard objects and fields and creation of custom objects and fields
• Experience in customization, configuration, Apex, Visualforce pages with JavaScript and various other tools
• Experience with CI/CD process for automated deployments using repositories like Github, Bitbucket or Gitlab along with Salesforce DX
• Experience in implementing Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Community Cloud
• Minimum two years of experience as a administrator
• Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) Platform App Builder and Platform Developer 1 certifications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of Agile software development processes and best practices
• Hands on experience with Lightning Web Component, Lightning Design System, Process Builder, Workflows, Flows
• Integration experience using Mulesoft, or other middleware tools
• Knowledge of at least one CPQ systems such as BMI, Steelbrick or Apttus
