Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and modify general applications software using next-generation, web-based Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology

  • Analyze user needs and develop customized software solutions. Develop Autodesk s cloud-based platforms for use with existing applications and new web-based clients

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of core components, for use in desktop and cloud-based applications, including User Interface (UI), geometry, logic processing, and three-dimensional (3D) graphics components

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of shipping software products (desktop, web, mobile). Apply core engineering principles to ensure quality, usability, and performance of software

  • Define and build testing automation tools and test suites. Perform code and system analysis to identify and fix software defects. Participate in an agile development process, including daily scrum, sprint planning, code reviews, and quality assurance (QA) activities

  • Serve as an integral part of a small team that leads a large, community-based open-source development effort. Ensure the success of Autodesk s customers by participating in customer visits and demonstrations, contributing to support forums, identifying reoccurring issues, and resolving complex problems in a virtual environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture or related field)

  • You have 2 years of software engineer-related experience

  • You have 2 years of experience in each of the following skills:

  • General development technologies, including Git and Testing Frameworks (Nunit/Junit)

  • Scrum workflow such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review & Retrospective and Backlog Refinement, analyzing and responding to customer feedback on new functionality

  • Cluster management systems such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) or Kubernetes

  • Software development using visual programming and/or computational design tools such as Grasshopper or Dynamo

  • Designing and implementing programming languages; such as solution design for the requirements, dataflow analysis, code generation, optimization, refactoring, test scenario implementation

  • You have some experience or graduate-level coursework in each of the following skills:

  • Modern frontend (C#/C /WPF, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/HTML) and backend (C#, C , ACIS) web technologies

  • User Interface (UI) design within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry

  • Backend technologies including Go, Docker, C# (Mono), Linux, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
